Mueller-BBM社は1958年、騒音振動の計測、低減を目的としたコンサルタントを業務をとする会社としてドイツ、ミュンヘンに設立されました。
設立以来、振動騒音に関連するコンサルタントを主な業務としてきましたが、コンサル タントに使用する計測器を自社開発し、それらを一般にマーケットに紹介し始めたのを機会に、振動騒音の計測器開発会社としての業務もするようになりました。
現在では,振動騒音を扱うコンサルタント会社としてばかりでなく、音、振動の計測器を開発する会社としてヨーロッパでは認知されております。

　コンサルタント部門（Mueller-BBM GmbH）
コンサルタント部門は、ヨーロッパで振動騒音のコンサルタント会社として約40年の実績をもっております。 現在の主な仕事は以下のとおりです。
ヨーロッパ各自動車メーカからの依頼による音、振動に関連する問題のコンサルタント
環境騒音に関するコンサルタント
建築音響
自動車に関連する規格策定作業
心理音響解析の研究
振動・騒音に関連するセミナーの開催
また、心理音響解析の研究にあたっては、ドイツ・ミュンヘン工科大学の Hugo Fastl教授の協力の下、最新の評価手法を提案しております。
　計測システム開発部門（Mueller-BBM VibroAkustik Systeme GmbH）
開発部門では、コンサルタント業務を介して蓄積した計測技術、データ処理、分析手法のノウハウをもとに1992年BMW社の要求をベースとしてPAKシス テムを開発しました。現在、PAKシステムは、BMW社ばかりでなく、ヨーロッパの多くの自動車メーカで主要な音・振動解析システムとしての地位を確保し ております。 　
特に、音解析に関しては、自動車で発生する種々の音を解析するアプリケーションを備えております。
主なアプリケーションは以下のとおりです。

クランクアングル関連解析
通過音解析
ねじれ振動解析
実稼働モード解析
音響加振ほか
